日本食レストラン Restaurant Japonais à Montréal

モントリオールでお勧めの日本食レストランはどこ？と、現地の人たちによく聞かれます。
I'm often asked which Japanese restaurant is the best in Montreal. Because I am writing a restaurant review for a japanse local news paper here and also I am japanese;-).

最近とても気に入っている日本食レストランは、コーデネージュエリア、メトロ　スノウドン駅からデカリ通りを渡った所にある香珍です。日本語センターの帰りに既に何度か通いました。お寿司はもちろん美味しいけど、とにかく天ぷらがすごく美味しい！ カリっとしてるんです！
This restaurant, situated in Cote-des-Neiges area, near the Snowdon metro, is soo good, especially Tempra!  I've alreaday been to this spot a few times after my son's japanese language school.

２５年続くこのお店、２代目店長/シェフは日本人の奥さんをもつ韓国系カナダ人の方だそう。この日本人の奥さん、とっても働き者で感じが良くて子供にも優しいです。
It's been more than 25years since the first chef of this restaurant opened it and now his son who learned everything from his father owns it and his japanese wife helps the work. She is so nice and likes kids, too.

店内は個室もあってベンチなので、子連れでも人の迷惑とかあまり気にせずに食べれるし、どこかにちょろちょろ行っちゃうのも防げてすごく安心。

There are some benches and individual booths in the restaurant. I find it makes me feel easier to eat with kids because we don't have to worry about their noise or messiness, and them walking around other peoples table.
